Our Story

A family shoppe, named with love

Missy Kay's is the dream of husband-and-wife team Cody & Allison Neidert — Northern Colorado natives who met at the University of Northern Colorado, moved to Windsor in 2019, and opened the shoppe as a true family passion. Cody loves running candy and gift shops; Allison is an outstanding cookie baker and decorator.

The name comes from their daughter Margaret — "Missy Kay" is Daddy's nickname for Maggie Kay (her brother Colson has his own corner of the shop). And our Cookie Balloon logo? It celebrates Windsor's hot-air-balloon mornings and the beloved Harvest Festival balloon rally.

We're a Windsor family with a passion for puttin' smiles on faces. We hope to see you soon.
